Trust signals inform your decision; they do not decide it for you. Review the provider, the terms, and the information you share.
1 Check the provider and scope
Profiles show bios, skills, work samples, ratings, reviews, and completed-order counts where available. GoHireHumans does not vet, screen, background-check, or identity-verify workers. Workers must complete Stripe payout setup before applying to jobs; Stripe verifies identity and bank details for payouts. These records are not a guarantee of quality, availability, or fulfillment.
- Compare the profile with the specific task and requested result.
- Define inputs, exclusions, timing, price, and acceptance criteria.
- Keep task communication on-platform where possible so there is a usable record.
2 Review payment and issue terms
Stripe-powered processing where configured. Workers receive the listed payout. Where checkout is configured, buyers pay a 1% platform fee plus a fixed 3% processing charge on the listed payout when they hire or order; each component is rounded to the nearest cent with a one-cent minimum.
Payment review and dispute handling. Issue review uses configured processor rules, platform records, and available evidence; outcomes depend on that evidence and are not assured.
- Supported checkout flows use Stripe where configured; payment availability can vary by workflow.
- Review the listed scope, provider details, and deliverables before approving paid work.
- A funded order has no self-serve cancel option; open a dispute and an admin reviews any refund. For a charged hire that never activated, an approved refund returns the full charge including fees; for an activated hire or order, an approved refund returns the base amount only. Revision and other payment outcomes follow configured processor rules, platform records, and available evidence.
- Off-platform payment requests can bypass platform records and issue-review evidence.
3 Protect safety and sensitive information
Listing text is checked against blocked keywords and phrases when jobs and services are created or edited. These filters can reject some prohibited content; they do not verify workers or guarantee that listings are safe.
- Do not put passwords, credentials, payment instructions, or sensitive customer data in public listings.
- Share only the information needed for the scoped task and use account security controls.
